THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE EXTREME SOUTHERN TEXAS
PANHANDLE...SOUTH PLAINS AND ROLLING PLAINS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

NON PRECIPITATION

STRONG NORTHERLY WINDS SUSTAINED AT 20 TO 30 MPH...OCCASIONALLY
SLIGHTLY STRONGER...WILL OCCUR ACROSS THE OUTLOOK AREA TODAY.
THESE WINDS HAVE CARRIED MUCH COLDER CANADIAN AIR INTO WEST
TEXAS...WITH SUB-FREEZING TEMPERATURES ACROSS THE SOUTHWESTERN
PANHANDLE AND NORTHERN AND WESTERN SOUTH PLAINS THIS MORNING. A
FREEZE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR MUCH OF THE NORTHERN AND
WESTERN SOUTH PLAINS WHERE THEY HAVE ALREADY SURPASSED THEIR
AVERAGE LAST FREEZE DATES.

AFTER A BLUSTERY DAY TODAY...UNSEASONABLY COLD LOW TEMPERATURES WILL
ENGULF ALL OF THE SOUTHERN PANHANDLE...SOUTH PLAINS AND ROLLING
PLAINS TONIGHT...WITH A WIDESPREAD FREEZE EXPECTED. A FREEZE WATCH
REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR TUESDAY MORNING FOR THE MAJORITY OF THE
OUTLOOK AREA.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY
THE PROBABILITY OF WIDESPREAD HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS LOW.
