THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE EXTREME SOUTHERN TEXAS
PANHANDLE...SOUTH PLAINS AND ROLLING PLAINS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

WINTER WEATHER

AREAS OF SNOW AND SLEET WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS
BEFORE TAPERING OFF LATE THIS MORNING INTO EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. IN
ADDITION...PATCHY FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE
SOUTHERN SOUTH PLAINS INTO THE ROLLING PLAINS. ADDITIONAL SNOW AND
SLEET ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE
SOUTHERN TEXAS PANHANDLE...WITH AROUND AN INCH POSSIBLE ACROSS OF
CENTRAL SOUTH PLAINS. ADDITIONAL SLEET ACCUMULATIONS OF UP TO A HALF
INCH ARE EXPECTED IN THE ROLLING PLAINS...WITH A LIGHT GLAZE OF
ICE ALSO POSSIBLE. A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT
UNTIL NOON TODAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY
THERE WILL BE A CHANCE FOR LIGHT ACCUMULATIONS OF SNOW AND SLEET AGAIN
THURSDAY AND FRIDAY.
