PANHANDLE...SOUTH PLAINS AND ROLLING PLAINS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

WINTER WEATHER

COLDER AIR AND INCREASING CHANCES OF WINTRY PRECIPITATION WILL GREET
WEST TEXAS LATE TONIGHT. LIGHT DRIZZLE...FREEZING DRIZZLE OR LIGHT
SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE EARLY SUNDAY MORNING ACROSS THE SOUTHERN TEXAS
PANHANDLE AND NORTHERN SOUTH PLAINS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

ACCUMULATIONS OF SNOW...SLEET AND ICE ARE EXPECTED SUNDAY AND
MONDAY. THIS WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES ACROSS THE REGION.
A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY.
ALSO...BRISK WINDS WILL DROP WIND CHILL READINGS INTO THE SINGLE
DIGITS SUNDAY NIGHT...AND LOCALLY BELOW ZERO ACROSS THE EXTREME
SOUTHERN TEXAS PANHANDLE.

WINTRY WEATHER MAY RETURN LATE NEXT WEEK AS WELL.
