THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE EXTREME SOUTHERN TEXAS
PANHANDLE...SOUTH PLAINS AND ROLLING PLAINS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

CONVECTIVE

ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON
WITH THE ARRIVAL AN UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM. MODERATE INSTABILITY
AND DEEP LAYER WIND SHEAR WILL INCREASE THE CHANCE THAT SOME OF
THESE STORMS BECOME SEVERE...ESPECIALLY EAST OF A DIMMITT TO
BROWNFIELD LINE. THE STRONGEST OF STORMS COULD PRODUCE LARGE HAIL
TO GOLF BALL SIZE AND LOCALLY DAMAGING WIND GUSTS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

THUNDERSTORMS MAY BE POSSIBLE AGAIN FOR THE EASTERN SOUTH PLAINS
AND ROLLING PLAINS WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON. OTHERWISE...THE
PROBABILITY OF HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS LOW.
