and West Texas Mesonet Station in Childress, TX

On January 23, 2007, WFO Lubbock met with officials
from Childress, TX to conduct a dedication ceremony for the new NOAA
Weather Radio All Hazards (NWR) transmitter. The ceremony was also a
joint effort, held with Texas Tech University (TTU), to dedicate the
50th weather observing and reporting station of TTU’s West Texas
Mesonet (WTM).
