2010 SKYWARN^TM Recognition Day

6 PM CDT December 3rd to 6pm December 4th

SKYWARN^TM Recognition Day was developed in 1999 by the National Weather Service and the American Radio Relay League. It celebrates the contributions that volunteer SKYWARN^TM radio operators make to the National Weather Service. During the day SKYWARN^TM operators visit NWS offices and contact other radio operators across the world.

• Congratutions to all the participants for another successful SRD. Despite poor band conditions, people still had fun operating various modes.
• Participants included personnel from the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Lubbock, the South Plains Storm Spotting Team, and Texas Tech University
• 57 contacts were made.
