The Lubbock Weather Forecast Office Participates in the King County Health and Safety Fair in Guthrie, Texas.

The NWS Weather Forecast Office (WFO) participated in the King County Health and Safety Fair in Guthrie, TX, on October 14, 2008. Approximately 70 students participated in the fair, mostly grade school children.

Students learned about tornado, flooding and lightning safety, and received Halloween candy from Ken Widelski and Gary Skwira, forecasters from the National Weather Service Forecast Office (WFO) in Lubbock. The event was enjoyed by one and all.
