Our office is located in the city of Lubbock, on the South Plains of West Texas. The map below shows the location of Lubbock.  As a point of reference, a map of the perceptual regions Texas is also included below.

Map of the Lubbock County Warning Area

Click on the map to view a closeup of our 24-county warning area (CWA), with our Lubbock office slightly offset to the southwest of the CWA center. Incidently, Lubbock is located about the same distance (463 miles) from both Denver, Colorado and Houston. While one may think of West Texas as a fairly uniform semi-arid region, our CWA is actually quite diverse in geography, climate and land use.

Elevation in the CWA runs from a high of almost 4500 feet in northwest Parmer County, to a low of about 1500 feet in northeast Stonewall and southeast King Counties.
