Tornado Damage:

The Patterson tornado touched down in central St. Mary Parish, a few miles southwest of Patterson, near the Wax Lake Outlet. According to a press release issued by the St. Mary Parish Sheriff, the tornado destroyed a mobile home, some storage buildings and removed a roof from a home. The owner of the mobile home was there with his wife and children. One child suffered a minor laceration, but the other family members escaped unharmed. Most of their possessions were destroyed. No other injuries or damage was reported.
