Tornado Damage:

This tornado formed southeast of Evadale in southern Jasper County, moving northeast, just south of the community of Buna. This tornado was one of the strongest of the night, causing considerable damage, with numerous injuries. One lady was killed when she was ejected from her mobile home. Her husband also suffered serious injuries during the disaster.

Several additional mobile homes were completely destroyed. One man was lying in bed when he heard a roaring sound. As he was kneeling down to seek shelter under his bed, the trailer rolled over. A large tree also fell onto a nearby mobile home, severing it in half.
