The NOAA P-3 Orion hurricane hunter plane arrives at Lafayette Regional Airport for its first Southwest Louisiana stop.  The P-3, this one nicknamed "Kermit", flies long missions into tropical systems in the Atlantic, Caribbean and Gulf of Mexico, taking measurements of different weather-related phenomena.
