Our mission:
Our mission is providing all of the Florida Keys weather, hydrologic, marine, climate forecasts and warnings for the protection of life and property and the enhancement of the local economy.

We are part of the National Weather Service (NWS), Southern Region Division. Our parent agency is the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), which is under the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC). is the U.S. government's official web portal to all federal, state and local government web resources and services.
