2. Precipitation

Precipitation image shown below indicates widespread 0.5 to 1 inch rainfall amounts
in northeast Florida and 0.25 to 0.5 inches in southeast Georgia.
Some areas of 1 to 3 inches are also noted in portions of northeast
Florida and southeast Georgia...mostly notable from Gainesville to
the Suwannee Valley and also between Waycross and Jesup. Unfortunately,
some areas received little if any rain, which include Marion county
in northeast Florida and Glynn and Atkinson counties in southeast
Georgia.
