We hope you are as impressed with nature's display of power represented in this storm as we were looking at it through our Doppler radar imagery.

Here's our MAY WINNER that occurred in Sharkey County in the afternoon of the 28th. The environment of the day consisted of Capes to 3600 j/kg, Storm Relative Helicities 200-250(m/s)(m/s), and an EHI of 4-5! Fortunately, the storms moved east generally at 25kts as a southeastward motion would have been much more serious. The storm not only was massive in height but also developed a moderate Mesocyclone after 200 pm when VILs peaked at 74kg/m*m and the 50dBz core reached nearly 50,000 feet.
