This is a loop of a vertical cross-section of the supercell thunderstorm that produced an F4 tornado near the city of Madison in Madison County. The cross-section loop begins over central Hinds County and ends over eastern Madison County. The number scale on the left side of the images represents height in thousands of feet, while the scale on the bottom represents distance in nautical miles.
