April 6, 2003 - Newton/Lauderdale tornado

At 300 pm, a tornado touched down 5 miles NE of Little Rock. This tornado moved east for 2 miles before entering Lauderdale county. While in Newton county, this tornado pealed some tin off of a shed and downed numerous trees. This tornado was rated F0.
At 304 pm, the tornado entered NW Lauderdale county. This tornado stayed on the ground for an additional 10.5 miles before dissipating. This tornado uprooted and snapped numerous trees and caused only minor roof damage to a few structures. The width of this tornado was 200 yards, with a total length of 13 miles. This tornado was rated F0.
This tornado also had a large amount of straight line wind damage associated with the rear flank downdraft, which downed trees 1 to 2 miles south of the track.
