March 16, 2002 Severe Weather
The following is a loop of base reflectivity images of a severe thunderstorm, as seen by the WSR-88D Jackson (KJAN) radar. This particular thunderstorm produced an F1 tornado between Soso and Laurel, MS, in Jones County. The tornado uprooted several trees and caused significant roof damage to several homes.
