Your National Weather Service in Jackson issues climate products on a daily basis.  These are issued for historical reasons and to get a better judge on the climate in the area from a day to day and decade to decade basis.


Climate Report (CLI) Latest Climate Report:
Jackson / Meridian/ Greenwood
Greenville / Hattiesburg/ Vicksburg
The Climate Report presents climatological data in tabular form. Separate products are issued for Jackson, Meridian, Greenville, Greenwood, Tallulah-Vicksburg, and Hattiesburg.  The report is issued twice daily -- between 2am and 3am for the day before and 4pm for the current day.
Regional Temp / Precip Table (RTP) Latest Regional Temp/Precip

The Regional Temperature and Precipitation Table summarizes high and low temperatures and 24 hour precipitation at all automated reporting locations in the NWS Jackson service area. This product is issued twice a day around 7am/pm (6am/pm CST).
Daily Agricultural Weather Report (AGO) Latest Daily Temp & Precip

The Daily Agricultural Weather Report product is a listing of daily observations from cooperative observers and automated stations. It contains the high, low, and 24-hour precipitation, all ending at 6am CST(7am CDT). The product is issued between 9am and 10am daily.
CoCoRAHS Precipitation Reports (LCO) Latest CoCoRAHS Report

All precipitation observations received via the CoCoRAHS (Community Collaborative Rain, Hail, and Snow) Network is summarized in a single product that covers all of the counties within the NWS Jackson area of responsibility.
Monthly Climate Report (CLM) Latest Monthly Climate Report:

Greenville / Hattiesburg/ Vicksburg
The Monthly Climate Report is used to report climatological data at the end of each month.  It contains tabular information about the previous month. Separate products are issued for each of the six climate sites: Jackson, Meridian, Greenville, Greenwood, Tallulah-Vicksburg and Hattiesburg.   This product is issued on the first day of every month.
Public Information Statement (PNS) Latest Public Info Statement

The Public Information Statement may be issued for other reasons than those directly weather-related.  A Public Information Statement may talk about the NOAA Weather Radio, media events, weather safety weeks, storm survey information or other non-weather related subjects.
Record Event Report (RER) Latest Record Event Report:

A Record Event Report is used to note when any climate record is tied and/or broken. Separate products are issued for records in each of the six climate sites.  This would include record high or low temperatures, and record rain or snow.  A Record Event Report will state what type of record has been broken, what the old record was and the date it occurred, and what the new record is.
Preliminary Climate Data (LCD) NWS Jackson Climate Page
Month-to-date climate reports are available on the NWS Jackson climate page. These products are not disseminated to the public in any other form.  They are available for Jackson, Meridian, Tallulah-Vicksburg, Greenwood, Greenville and Hattiesburg. The LCD product is generally updated by 9am local time each morning for the previous day.  To access these summaries, use the climate page link above, select "Preliminary Climate Data (CF6)", select the location, time period of interest, then click "Go".
NOAA Online Weather Data (NOWData) NWS Jackson Climate Page
This is climate information provided by NWS Cooperative Observers, who collect weather observations for the National Weather Service across the local area. The information listed is for the current month and previous month for many weather elements.  To access this data, use the climate page link above, select the type of data, the location and time period, and select "Go". 
Hourly Regional Weather Roundup (RWR) Latest Regional Hourly Weather

The Regional Weather Roundup is issued hourly and give the temperature, dewpoint, wind, and general weather conditions for each hour at selected sites across the state.

Upper Air Mandatory Levels (MAN)

Twice a day, NWS Jackson and 91 other sites around North America release weather balloons. The data that is received from these balloons is sent out in 3 different coded formats. The Mandatory Levels is the data at 925mb, 850mb, 700mb, 500mb, 400mb, 300mb, 250mb, 200mb, 150mb and 100mb. The data is listed with temperature and dewpoint first followed by wind direction and speed.

Upper Air Significant Levels (SGL) Latest Significant Levels

Twice a day, NWS Jackson and 91 other sites around North America release weather balloons. The data that is received from these balloons is sent out in 3 different coded formats. The Significant Levels are the levels between the mandatory levels where the temperature and humidity vary from a straight line.

Upper Air Above Levels (ABV) Latest Above 100mb Levels

Twice a day, NWS Jackson and 91 other sites around North America release weather balloons. The data that is received from these balloons is sent out in 3 different coded formats.  This section is similar to the Mandatory Levels section, except that it contains mandatory level data for pressures less than 100 mb. The levels are 70, 50, 30 and 10 mb, if the weather balloon makes it that high!

Upper Air Freezing Level (FZL)

Twice a day, NWS Jackson and 91 other sites around North America release weather balloons. The data that is received from these balloons is sent out in 3 different coded formats. The Freezing Level is the point of the upper air sounding where the temperature goes below freezing. This message codes the height and the relative humidity at that level.
