Automated phone recordings of the latest information on hazardous weather and other forecasts are now available from your Jackson MS National Weather Service office. Menus used to reach these recordings can be accessed by simply calling our office. Our general public service phone number is (601) 936-2189 but calls to any of our other office numbers will also lead to the menus that will provide the weather recordings.

Your phone call will be answered by the main menu, which will instruct you to press the number "1" on your phone for recorded weather information. Pressing "1" will take you to our Recorded Weather Information Menu where the following options will be available:

Press 1 to hear information regarding Weather Hazards for the ArkLaMiss Region

Press 2 to hear the Latest Climate Information for the Jackson Metro Area

Press 3 to listen to the Latest Weather Briefing for the ArkLaMiss Region

Press 4 to hear the Jackson Metro Area Forecast for the next several hours

Press 5 to hear the Jackson Metro Area Forecast for the next three days

Press 6 to listen to the Jackson Metro Area Weekend Forecast

Press 7 to hear the Jackson Metro Area Forecast for the next seven days

Press 8 to listen to the Mississippi River Forecast for the next five days

Press 9 to hear about Upcoming Spotter Classes
