April 6, 2005 was a VERY active weather day for WFO JAN. A total of 229 County Warnings (Severe Thunderstorm and Tornado) and 31 Flood Warnings were issued across the Jackson Forecast Area.
Below are many images of the damage done by different storms on this day.

The first set of pictures are of the Monterey Community near Florence, MS. This was one of the hardest hit areas.

This set of pictures was taken outside White Oak in Smith County. Six chicken houses were destroyed and many trees damaged.
This final set of pictures was taken around Mize in Smith County.
