MPEG Loops for "Impacts of Slant Range on 88D VAD Wind Profiles"

LAST MINUTE ADDITION!!!

The loops below were added at the last minute for the SOO/Cooperative Institutes Conference. The intent of these animations is two fold: The first is to show the extent of the general flow by means of animation; to give an "eyeball estimate" of the extent to which it might be considered homogenous. (This would tend to set a limit on how large an OSR should be). The loops of composite reflectivity and base velocity from the 0.5 degree elevation slice are included for this purpose. The second item is to show what caused the VWP products (see the RADS output) with OSR set at or below 30 km to show winds through a deeper layer from around 2200-2300Z: this was merely due to some reflectors floating into the domain of the OSR. The higher velocity cuts show this well.
