OF HOUSTON...

AN EF-0 TORNADO MOVED THROUGH A PORTION OF THE SPRING BRANCH AREA
OF HOUSTON AT APPROXIMATELY 2:30 PM ON SATURDAY JUNE 28TH. THE
TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN ALONG JOHANNA DRIVE SOUTH OF LONG POINT AND
TRAVELED JUST EAST OF NORTH FOR A DISTANCE OF APPROXIMATELY THREE
QUARTERS OF A MILE...LIFTING NORTH OF HAMMERLY DRIVE.

A CINDER BLOCK WALL FAILED ON A STRUCTURE NEAR THE INITIAL POINT
OF THE PATH. DAMAGE FURTHER NORTH WAS PRIMARILY LARGE TREE LIMBS
SNAPPED OR BROKEN. AN APARTMENT COMPLEX HAD SEVERAL WINDOWS BROKEN
AND A COMMERCIAL GARAGE DOOR WAS BLOWN IN. AT THE END OF THE
DAMAGE PATH A LARGE TREE WAS BROKEN AND A RESIDENTIAL CARPORT WAS
DESTROYED.
