A CLUSTER OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS PUSHED INTO SOUTHEAST TEXAS
DURING THE PRE-DAWN HOURS AND PRODUCED A SWATH OF 1 TO 3 INCHES
OF RAIN ACROSS PARTS OF MADISON...WALKER...HOUSTON AND TRINITY
COUNTIES. LIGHTER RAINFALL TOTALS OCCURRED OVER PARTS OF BURLESON
AND BRAZOS COUNTIES. IN A CRUEL TWIST OF FATE...EASTERWOOD FIELD
IN COLLEGE STATION ONLY RECEIVED A TRACE OF RAIN THIS MORNING.
COLLEGE STATION HAS NOT RECEIVED MEASURABLE RAIN FOR 53
CONSECUTIVE DAYS...OR SINCE MAY 24TH. PARTS OF THE BRYAN COLLEGE
STATION AREA DID RECEIVE AROUND A QUARTER INCH OF RAIN THIS
MORNING. THE RAIN OVER THE NORTH WILL GRADUALLY DISSIPATE AND
ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP FURTHER SOUTH
ALONG THE OUTFLOW BOUNDARY AND DEVELOPING SEA BREEZE FRONT. SOME
