Wintry precipitation will be possible late this weekend across the Texas and Oklahoma Panhandles. On Saturday night, there is a slight chance of precipitation across northern and western portions of the Panhandles. The precipitation may begin as rain, but will quickly change over to snow. By Sunday, chances of precipitation increase across the region. Most of the region will see wintry precipitation in the form of snow or a rain and snow mix. However, across the southeastern Texas Panhandle, mostly rain will be possible during the day on Sunday. On Sunday night, there is a slight chance to chance of snow across the region.

Any snow accumulations are expected to be light at this time. Stay tuned to the latest forecast for the most up-to-date information on this developing winter weather system.
