A cold front will move across the area today. Ahead of the front, strong west winds will result in an increased fire danger, especially across the southwest and south-central Texas Panhandle. Behind the front, gusty north to northwest winds can be expected. High temperatures today will range from near 50 degrees in the northwest to near 70 degrees in the southeast.
