Apparent Temperatures for 1980 and 1998

This table shows the approximate range of "apparent temperatures" (the combination of heat and humidity) during the Heat Waves of 1980 and 1998, the two warmest summers on record for the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. The morning "apparent temperatures" were rarely lower than "very warm" and moved to the "hot" range fairly quickly then becoming "very hot" by afternoon.
