Arlington and Grand Prairie Tornado

Path Length: Approximately 6 1/2 miles 
Path Width: 1/4 mile
F-Scale: F0 (<72mph) to F3 (158-206 mph)

 

The Arlington tornado apparently touched down just south and west of the the intersections of Bardin Road and South Prairie View. Damage was estimated as F3 on the Fujita Scale when the tornado touched down. The tornado varied between F2 and F1 damage until crossing Interstate 20, when it dropped to F0 damage. The F0 tornado continued into Dallas County, moving just south and east of Traders Village, before increasing to F2 before crossing Arkansas Ln. The tornado lifted shortly after crossing Spur 303.
