    Significant Events
    • 1996 - Rain changed to snow during the evening hours. A trace of accumulation officially recorded airport. One inch accumulated at WSFO Fort Worth. West of the Metroplex 2"-5" inches accumulated. Roads remained wet with slick spots, especially on bridges.
    • 1985 - Sleet and snow accumulated to 1.2".
    • 1983 - A trace of sleet was recorded with temperatures above freezing.
    • 1977 - Sleet and glaze were recorded with temperature 16°F - 35°F.
    • 1973 - A trace of sleet occurred with temperatures above freezing.
    • 1968 - A trace of freezing drizzle at dawn melted quickly.
    • 1948 - A trace of snow was recorded.
    • 1947 - Snow, sleet and freezing rain amounted to only a trace despite sub-freezing temperatures all day (21°F - 31°F).
    • 1919 - A trace of snow fell during this sub freezing day (22°F - 31°F).
