    Significant Events
    • 2000 - Officially, 7/10th inch of snow fell during the afternoon. However, there were several reports of 2" snow depths across the Meteroplex. Thundersnow occurred in southwest Dallas and northwest Ellis counties where local snow depths as much as 4" were observed.
    • 1978 - An ice storm, which was more severe in Dallas than Fort Worth, was not represented at DFW Airport.
    • 1959 - A trace of snow fell.
    • 1958 - There was a trace of snow left on the ground from a previous storm.
    • 1947 - Snow and sleet amounted to only a trace.
    • 1946 - Snow and sleet accumulated to 2.6".
