| 10th | 1962 - The highest sea level pressure on record at Waco was tied (31.03" Hg). 1930 - An ice storm hit the Dallas/Fort Worth area with ice accumulations up to 2" thick. 1909 - An arctic front moved through Fort Worth, dropping the temperature 45°F one hour. |
| 11th | 1918 - On the 10th and 11th, 2" to 6" of snow fell across the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Addition winds of 25 to 40 mph caused blizzard conditions across the area. |
| 12th | 1916 - An arctic cold front moved through Fort Worth dropping the temperature 50°F 5 hours. 1886 - 6" of snow fell Galveston. |
| 13th | 1944 - On the 13th and 14th an ice storm caused considerable tree and utility pole damage across east central and northeast Texas. |

| 15th | 1964 - On the 15th and 16th, the Greater Southwest Airport (Amon Carter) Dallas/Fort Worth reported 8" of snow, with up to 12" reported at Weatherford. |

| 25th | 1965 - Winds gusting to 43 mph Fort Worth lowered the visibility to ¾ of a mile blowing dust. As some reported it was the "thickest dust since 1956". |
| 26th | 1907 - The low temperature at Fort Worth dropped to 20°F. This was the coldest temperature for the winter of 1906-07. |
| 27th | 1994 - The WSR-88D Doppler Radar at Fort Worth was officially accepted. |

| 31st | 1949 - Record cold was reported several locations across North Texas: The low of -2°F in Fort Worth was a record for the month of January; the low of -5°F in Waco tied the all time low temperature, and the mercury dropped to -12°F in Lampasas. 1911 - The high temperature Fort Worth reached 93°F, which set a record for the month of January. |
