AREA FORECAST DISCUSSION...UPDATED
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MORRISTOWN TN
844 PM EDT THU AUG 27 2015

.DISCUSSION...
ANOTHER QUIET NIGHT ACROSS THE EAST TENNESSEE VALLEY AND SOUTHERN
APPALACHIAN REGION. HIGH PRESSURE CONTINUES TO PROMOTE MOSTLY
CLEAR AND CALM CONDITIONS ACROSS MUCH OF THE VALLEY...WITH PARTLY
CLOUDY CONDITIONS PREVAILING OVER THE MOUNTAINS /ALONG WITH A FEW
ISOLATED SHOWERS/. THESE SHOWERS AND CLOUDS WILL GIVE WAY TO MOSTLY
CLEAR CONDITIONS AFTER MIDNIGHT...BEFORE SOME PATCHY FOG DEVELOPS
LATE TONIGHT ALONG AREA LAKES AND RIVERS...AND SOME ADDITIONAL
MID-LEVEL CLOUD COVER RETURNS ALONG THE HIGHER TERRAIN.
TEMPERATURES HAVE DROPPED OFF WITH THE SETTING SUN...BUT SHOULD BE
A DEGREE OR TWO WARMER THAN LAST NIGHT. STILL...THE DRY CONDITIONS
WILL MAKE FOR A COMFORTABLE NIGHT...WITH LOWS IN THE UPPER 50S AND
LOWER 60S EXPECTED.
