...LIGHT SNOW MAY MIX WITH RAIN ACROSS THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF
FAR NORTH GEORGIA FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY MORNING...
...NO TRAVEL PROBLEMS EXPECTED...

PRECIPITATION WILL SPREAD ACROSS THE STATE FROM THE WEST TONIGHT
AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING STORM SYSTEM. TEMPERATURES TONIGHT AND
FRIDAY MORNING SHOULD BE WARM ENOUGH TO KEEP THE INCOMING
PRECIPITATION ALL RAIN...THOUGH IT CANNOT BE TOTALLY RULED OUT
THAT SOME ISOLATED SLEET PELLETS MAY BE OBSERVED IN THOSE HIGHER
ELEVATIONS AT ONSET TONIGHT AND EARLY FRIDAY MORNING.

AS THE SYSTEM EXITS SATURDAY MORNING...COLDER AIR WILL BEGIN TO
FILTER IN. AGAIN...MAINLY RAIN IS EXPECTED THROUGH THE DURATION OF
THE EVENT...BUT RAIN MAY MIX WITH OR VERY BRIEFLY CHANGE OVER TO
SNOW AT THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS OF THE NORTH GEORGIA MOUNTAINS...
GENERALLY ABOVE 2000FT...SATURDAY MORNING BEFORE THE MOISTURE
EXITS. A DUSTING OF SNOW MAY BE POSSIBLE AT THOSE HIGHER
ELEVATIONS. WHILE NO TRAVEL PROBLEMS DUE TO WINTER WEATHER ARE
ANTICIPATED...DRIVERS SHOULD STILL EXERCISE CAUTION DUE TO THE
WIDESPREAD RAIN AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES.

THIS IS AN EVOLVING EVENT SO STAY TUNED TO THE LATEST FORECASTS.
