THIS EVENING AS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM...

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...
THE MAIN STORM THREATS WILL BE STRONG TO DAMAGING WINDS...UP TO
QUARTER SIZED HAIL...AND FREQUENT LIGHTNING..

DISCUSSION...
SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ALONG AND AHEAD OF A COLD
FRONT THAT WILL SAG INTO CENTRAL GEORGIA THIS EVENING. SOME STORMS
COULD BECOME STRONG TO SEVERE... WITH THE GREATEST THREAT
GENERALLY ALONG AND SOUTH OF AN AMERICUS...TO BUTLER...TO
MACON...TO GIBSON LINE... AND BEFORE 10 PM TONIGHT.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY...
THERE WILL BE A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS NORTH GEORGIA
WEDNESDAY NIGHT INTO EARLY THURSDAY AS A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM DROPS
FROM THE OHIO VALLEY INTO THE SOUTHERN APPALACHIANS. OTHERWISE DRY
WEATHER IS EXPECTED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE PERIOD.
