...A FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM EDT FOR DADE
COUNTY...

AT 245 PM EDT...EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS CONTINUED TO REPORT
SOME CLOSED ROADS DUE TO FLOODING PRIMARILY NEAR LOOKOUT CREEK AND
ITS ASSOCIATED SMALL TRIBUTARIES. THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING WILL BE
ALLOWED TO EXPIRE AT 415 PM EDT.

A FLOOD WARNING WILL BE ISSUED FOR THE LOOKOUT CREEK NEAR NEW
ENGLAND SINCE THE FLOOD WATERS WILL TAKE SEVERAL MORE HOURS TO
RECEDE BELOW FLOOD STAGE THIS EVENING.

LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO TRENTON.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. NEVER DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO
AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. FLOOD WATERS ARE USUALLY
DEEPER THAN THEY APPEAR. JUST ONE FOOT OF FLOWING WATER IS POWERFUL
ENOUGH TO SWEEP VEHICLES OFF THE ROAD. WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED
ROADS MAKE THE SMART CHOICE...TURN AROUND...DO NOT DROWN.
