Lans Rothfusz presents certificate to Mr. Gibbs
On Thursday, March 14, 2002 Georgia's StormReady Executive Board met with dignitaries from Hall County, including Mr. Gary Gibbs, Chairman of the county Board of Commissioners, and Mr. Mike Satterfield, Director of the Hall County Emergency Management Agency. The purpose - to publicly recognize the county as a "StormReady Community". A Certificate of Recognition and StormReady street signs were presented. Making the presentation were Mr. Lans Rothfusz, Meteorologist-in-Charge with the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Peachtree City, along with Barry Gooden, Warning Coordination Meteorologist. Dan Yeargin, GEMA's Area Field Coordinator, also addressed the gathering.
