Lans Rothfusz unveils street sign

On Wednesday, February 6, 2002 Georgia's StormReady Executive Board met with dignitaries from Bartow County, including representatives from the County Board of Commissioners, and the Bartow County Emergency Management Agency. The purpose - to publicly recognize the county as a "StormReady Community". A Certificate of Recognition and StormReady street signs were presented. Making the presentation were Mr. Lans Rothfusz, Meteorologist-in-Charge, and Mr. Barry Gooden, Warning Coordination Meteorologist from the National Weather Service Forecast Office in Peachtree City. Charles Dawson from GEMA also addressed the gathering.
