Lightning Strike near Braselton, GA - July 2003
Robin Carter snapped these images near her home in Braselton, GA on July 14. She said exploding bark flew 100 feet in every direction, damaging the vinyl siding on her home. Thanks to Ken Cook FOX5-TV in Atlanta for passing these along.
