Head River Tornado Damage Survey

Storm Summary...

F1 intensity

Damage site was on Old State Road, near the community of Head River in the extreme southern portion of Dade County. [ MAP ]

PATH LENGTH = 1.5 miles
WIDTH = 1/2 to 1/2 miles

  • 5 to 6 buildings damaged
  • a concrete block building destroyed
  • a barn destroyed
  • numerous trees and power lines down near Old State Road 157
    trees down on house
    debris from garage that was
    totally destroyed
