.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

...SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED...
...A FEW STORMS COULD BE STRONG THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING...
...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FOR NORTH GEORGIA...

WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...
THE MAIN HAZARDS TODAY WILL BE STRONG WINDS... FREQUENT LIGHTNING
AND PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL LIKELY
CAUSE MINOR FLOODING ALONG AREA STREAMS... CREEKS AND FLOOD PRONE
LOW LYING AREAS.

DISCUSSION...
AN UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL INTERACT WITH A MOIST AND
UNSTABLE AIR MASS TO PRODUCE SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS TODAY. A FEW STORMS COULD BECOME STRONG DURING THE
AFTERNOON AND EVENING... WITH WIND GUSTS TO NEAR 50 MPH POSSIBLE.
TRAINING OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER ALREADY SATURATED
GROUND IS LIKELY AT TIMES AND COULD RESULT IN MINOR FLOODING.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...
THE UPPER LOW DRIFTS EAST BY MONDAY. THIS WILL BRING A SLIGHTLY
LOWER CHANCE OF AFTERNOON SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO THE AREA
THROUGH THE WORK WEEK AS WEAK HIGH PRESSURE SETTLES OVER THE DEEP
SOUTH.
