Historic Georgia Heat Event 2012

This past weekend, Georgia experienced one of the most significant heat events ever recorded as numerous records were shattered. In addition, several all time highs were set at select sites. Among these were Atlanta with an all time record set of 106°F, Columbus with 106°F, and Macon tying the all time record of 108°F.  There were likely other cooperative sites that set all time records as well but these will need to be quality controlled before becoming official.
