Hail in Union County - 5/9/04

[ Hail piles up on deck ] NORTH GEORGIA MOUNTAINS

Picture taken on May 9, 2004 by Ed Parker in the Brasstown Valley area of Union County. Ed said, "Briefly, at around 13:25 hours (1:25 pm EDT), the hail was between 3/4 to 1" and returned to the marble size after within 3 to 5 minutes. The entire hail event was approximately 30 minutes."
