the National Weather Service in Brownsville, and are in a variety of formats and file sizes that
can be downloaded by the user and played using multimedia computer software.
The purpose of these recordings is to provide storm summaries and other weather-related
information to the listener (example: primarily spotters and emergency managers)
about weather that has affected the Deep South Texas area.
