DATA ACQUISITION
The Data Acquisition Program is vital to the ability of WFO Brownsville to perform its basic public safety mission.
The work of the program is a critical factor to the correct and rapid assessment of current and impending, perhaps
very severe, weather conditions with a potential for destruction of life and property. Errors in technical assessment
or in communicating critical weather information and interpretation may have a major negative effect on the safety of
those served or on their economic well-being.
