Come Visit NWS Brownsville at the Air Fiesta!
Weekend of Fun Planned February 21 and 22

The National Weather Service office in Brownsville will be hosting a display during the 2015 Air Fiesta, sponsored by the Commemorative Air Force, Rio Grande Valley Wing. There are plenty of activities, and many things to see for kids of all ages at this year’s Air Fiesta. Aerobatics remain a fan favorite, and 2015 won’t disappoint: Randy Ball will highlight with his MiG–17 performance. Others scheduled to appear include Paul Fiala (biplane) and "Spanky" Gallaway (Extra 300). The famous Tora Tora Tora show and F–16 Fighters are scheduled to appear.

All are invited to stop by our booth, located in the RGV Commemorative Air Force Hangar located at 955 S. Minnesota Avenue, just south of the main terminal at the Brownsville/South Padre Island International Airport. Visit with local meteorologists, learn about aviation and tropical weather, and check out a weather balloon. Interactive displays, including our famous tornado chamber, will be available for all to enjoy and experience. Come on out and have fun with us!
