RIO GRANDE VALLEY...

STRONG CANADIAN HIGH PRESSURE NOSING SOUTH THROUGH TEXAS BROUGHT A
POLAR AIR MASS WITH IT...CULMINATING IN MINIMUM TEMPERATURES WHICH
RANGED THROUGH THE 20S AND 30S ACROSS THE RIO GRANDE VALLEY AND
DEEP SOUTH TEXAS EARLY THIS THURSDAY MORNING.

FAVORED DRAINAGE LOCATIONS ACROSS NORTHERN BROOKS...JIM HOGG...AND WESTERN
KENEDY COUNTY WERE BELOW FREEZING FOR 6 TO 8 HOURS.  OTHER FAVORED LOCATIONS
IN THE RIO GRANDE VALLEY WERE BELOW FREEZING FOR GENERALLY 2 TO 6 HOURS.
