Storm Damage from Perry, Hickman, and Lewis Counties - Feb 5, 2008

Some more images and details on the storm track from last night's tornado. Some types of damage I have NOT seen in this area: No vehicles or other large heavy objects picked up or rolled over, no major damage to wood frame houses (e.g. total deroofing or wall failure), no scouring or debarking.

Highway 412, Perry County 1.5 miles west of the Lewis County line, N35deg34min45sec, W87deg40min31sec. House has some shingle loss, mangled satellite dish on roof, some windows broken:

Community of Brush, along Highway 48 in Hickman County, N35deg41min19sec W87deg30min14sec. Extensive tree damage. Many sheds, outbuildings, carports demolished. Saw two houses with partial deroofing, many houses with shingle loss and tin roof peelback, some broken windows:

Lewis/Hickman County line along Dorning Road, N35deg38min54sec W87deg33min57sec. Pine trees felled in convergent patterns on clearly defined storm track. No buildings in the area:
