Several people died in northern Marshall County and another 10 in small communities along the path in Jackson County. At least 40 homes were damaged or destroyed. Some of the communities hit by this tornado are now under Lake Guntersville.

At least one store and one home were destroyed.

Small homes were destroyed in the mining community of Gravel Hill.

Small homes and churches were destroyed.

3 homes were destroyed.

3 homes and a church were destroyed.

7 homes were destroyed and at least 100 head of livestock were killed. The deaths occurred in at least two separate homes.

3 homes and one church were destroyed. The death and injury occurred on a plantation. A mill was also damaged.

Several homes were obliterated at Bee Springs and Millville. 5 members of one family were killed in a home, and another family of 7 were killed in a home, all in Bee Springs. Some very large homes were turned into piles of rubbish.

3 homes were unroofed and barns were blown away.
1909 2 23 NA Colbert F3 1.0 1 1 7 SW Tuscumbia
A two year old boy was killed when his large home was destroyed.
1909 2 5 1640 Lowndes-Montgomery F2 10.0 3 40 3 SW Burkeville-9 W Montgomery
One person was killed near Burkville. Two others were killed as dozens of tenant homes were destroyed on the Stone and Herbert plantations.
1909 2 5 1315 Blount-Cullman F3 9.0 3 25 3 SW Hanceville-7 E Hanceville
10 small homes were damaged and 5 were destroyed. A two day old infant was killed along with its parents.
