At least 20 buildings, homes, churches, and businesses were unroofed or torn apart.

Hundreds of carcasses were scattered along the track in Ms and all the deaths occurred in Ms. Ten people were injured in Alabama.

At least one large home was totally destroyed and one person was severely injured in the home.

22 homes were destroyed and 30 others were damaged. A woman and a boy were killed in separate homes in the Chapel Hill and White Plains communities.
1893 3 3 1750 Sumter**(started in Lauderdale Co, Ms) F3 25.0 4 15 9 W Marion-Toomsuba-SE of Cuba
3 people were killed in Marion and one person was killed near the Alabama state line. Several small homes were destroyed along the path.
