A line of showers and a few thunderstorms, moved across Central Alabama Tuesday afternoon, November 18 , 2003. A very small circulation developed
on the north side of a small bowing segment. This brief circulation produced the tornado in Walker County. These storms were very unique in that little to no lightning was produced.
National Weather Service Meteorologists surveyed the damage area from the small tornado which touched down
in south central Walker County. Below is the storm summary of the damage area. Click on the graphics to get a larger image.
