2008 Tropical Outreach and Preparedness
Alabama has been impacted by many hurricanes and tropical storms in past. While Central Alabama is not primarily impacted with the onset of a hurricane, the area can still see quite a range of events and conditions associated with a hurricane. We here at the National Weather Service in Birmingham have designed this webpage to provide you with some quick facts, posters, presentations, and links for preparing for the 2008 hurricane season.
